What would you do if you saw a
group of people all dressed alike with their faces painted white? Well, at the least
you would be curious. Most people would wander over to see what is going on.
That is exactly the effect that Living Water Ministries International ministry teams are
trying to achieve. People that might not ever go to a church, prayer group or any
other type of Christ-centered gathering will watch a street drama. That is precisely
what a ministry team did during the Thanksgiving holidays. THANKSGIVING
HOLIDAYS! Yes, Thanksgiving. They broke out of the box and decided that
leading people to Jesus was the best kind of Thanksgiving anyone could have. Working
directly with the local churches, the team ministered in churches, in open cornfields, bus
stops, and parks - anywhere that might draw a crowd to listen to a message of hope.
A message that spoke of a God that loves them and wants to help them - not condemn
them. We want to thank Mary Ann
Garrett, Sarah and Yvonne Gomez, Pastors Joe and Mary Jesse Barrerra, Joe Mendez, Don
Wiggins and of course, the team leader Jamie Hawkins. They all traveled with Wade
and Linda Thompson and Rudy Guerra Ministries in outreaches all over the country of
Guatemala. Brother Rudy and his family had dedicated a year of their lives to
serving the Guatemalan people and Living Water Ministries International went in support of
that effort.

This precious Quiche Indian woman was raised from the dead when
Brother Rudy, Wade and Jamie were there in the spring. The next night she
gave the money that she had been saving for her funeral in the offering. god is so
good! Her family could not express their heart-felt gratitude enough as she served
us our meal. |
| Brother Rudy has won the hearts of the Guatemalan people. Our
thanks to Rudy, Carmen, Isai, Damaris, Star, Pricilla, and Ezra Guerra. Thank you
also to Josue and Maria Anton for their ministry toward us and Maria Fernanda and Maria
Jose, their two wonderful little girls. our time in Guatemala was greatly enriched
by their selfless giving. |
