North India & China 2006

Ron and Christi Bishop (Shepherd Shapers Inc.) and Wade and Linda Thompson in Da Li Southern China entrance point of Buddhism into China, China Inland Mission Church established by Hudson Taylor on Revival Blvd. Ron and Christi joined us for two months in China and Thailand in 2006, imparting leadership principles from the Word of God.

Steve and Melissa Caddell, Pastors of Heart of Praise Worship Center, San Antonio, Texas with Pastor Peter Chacko, Mt. Carmel Fellowship and LWMI North India Director- Dumka, Jarkhand Full Gospel Church minister at the monthly "all night" prayer & fasting service with Bishop and Pastor Jeyraj Marc and 1200-1500 village members and leaders. Pastor Steve and Melissa and the Heart of Praise team partnered with LWMI to conduct a 3 day City/Regional Leadership Transformation Conference in the city of Dumka which touched 800 leaders. Provided drama, music and evangelism which touched over 2000 men, women and children with the gospel message.

Jesus said in Matthew 25:39-40 "And when did we see you sick or in prison and came to visit you? And the King will reply to them, truly I tell you in so much as you did it for one of the least (in the estimation of men) of these my brethren you did for me."

Our partners enabled us to spend three months targeting four nations within the 10/40 window (from ten degrees north to forty degrees north of the equator – see below). Over 95% of all unreached people live within this rectangle, which includes the majority of the world's Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists -- billions of spiritually impoverished souls. Forty-seven percent of the entire world population lives in just two of these nations – India and China!

Over 1,200 leaders where impacted in North India, China and Thailand (which also includes the Ka-ren refugees of Myanmar). Three ministry teams from Texas, Louisiana, California and Mexico joined us during this period to serve and bless the leaders and families of these nations. LWMI provided the funding for dormitories, meals, teaching materials, support for underground leaders, and 12 leadership conferences impacting these four nations. Partnering with Ron and Christy Bishop (Shepherd Shapers) we were also able to provide piping for water for the Karen refugees. Pastor Steve and Melissa Caddell and the Heart of Praise Worship Center brought drama, pastoral leadership, and a new sound of worship to our conference in Jarkhand North India . Martin Fessler (Mexico) and Frank Labby (Family Worship Center Leesville, LA) challenged the leaders of North India to greater kingdom living as pulpit and market-place ministers.

We were privileged to touch the lives the widows and orphans of China through the Home of Hope in Xu Zhou, China headed by Bob and Cindy Sayre. James 1:26 tells us "Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father means that we must care for the orphans and widows in their troubles..."

Thank you for giving sacrificially and faithfully to the calling and commission that the Father has given us here at LWMI and for standing with us to see the nations of the Earth be blessed. Together we will be a witness to the Great Commission becoming the Great Completion!

Connecting with missionaries and national leaders to connect Latin America to the 10/40 window and the great commission.

500 + Delegates & 1500-2000 (night evangelistic meetings) gather in Dumka, Jarkhand North India representing 23 churches and 16 denominational organizations for a 3 day City/Regional Leadership Transformation Conference and Outreach.

Wade and Linda and the Heart of Praise Worship and Drama Team minister to hundreds of men, women and children in a remote Santali village in North East Jarkhand. Majority of those present professed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.

70 plus Ka-ren national pastors and families (Natives of Burma) enjoy meals provided during a 5 day Regional Leadership Transformation Conference in Mae Sot Thailand coordinated by Missionary Scott St. Pierre and Karen Pastor Winai.

A new believer (most from Buddhist background of the Ka-ren people is baptized during the regional leaders conference on the Thai/Burma border.

Linda Thompson Teaching on Prayer and Intercession to the Ka-ren refugees of Burma living in the Mae Lah Refugee Camp. There are 49,000 refugees in the Mae Lah camp, some families have been here behind the barbwire for 30 years. There are approximately 1/2 million Karen and minority refugees who have taken shelter in these camps to flee from the the Burmese government.
